[LT] Digital Heating Controller Elfatherm E6

The newly developed Elfatherm E6 heating controller opens up an entirely new operating philosophy for heating controllers. Kromschroder AG has now presented a product which is exceedingly easy to operate despite its many functions (maximum 11 output relays, 4-channel weekly timer). The entire system can be programmed with one rotary knob (incremental encoder) and one programming key. The heating controller E6 has been designed specifically for installation in modern oil or gas-fired heating boilers. An extremely wide variety of versions to customer specifications can be implemented thanks to the versatility of its software settings.
Series E6 includes the following functions:
All E6 heating controllers are outside temperature dependent. If several units are used in one building, only one outside sensor is required, thus saving costs and installation effort. A remote control with room sensor can be connected for both heating circuits. The room sensor influence can be adjusted between 0 and 100 percent. As an alternative to remote control, it is also possible to connect up to two digital operator-control modules, so-called room stations, via the communications interface (CAN-bus) integrated as standard. The controller features an optical interface for connection to a PC for making basic settings and monitoring the heating system. It is no longer necessary to set the timer if the retrofittable DCF receiver is used. Like all digital controllers of the new Kromschroder generation, the Elfatherm E6 features intelligent electronics. It detects the functions necessary for the required operating mode and activates them automatically if the corresponding sensors are connected. The E6 features dynamic burner control hysteresis in order to reduce the burner start frequency. The circulation pump of the boiler circuit is deactivated and the mixers are set to "CLOSED" so that the boiler temperature leaves the condensation-risk region as quickly as possible if the actual temperature drops below the set "warm-up temperature".
